Let us talk a little about Herbert; Also known as the 'halfbreed'. Some think that his name derives from his strange features; large yellowing eyes, huge ears and long protuding nose; however few realise that he truly is a halfbreed in the literal sense. A product of the cross-breeding program between monster and human, Herbert has developed a heighted senses of sight, hearing and smell which surpasses the natural levels of a regular human. Strength and speed are also extra attributes to compliment his aformentioned abilities.

He lives his life as an every day adventurer, but answers to the beckoning call of his Master Erasmus without fail every time. Humans natural habit to fear the unknown is detrimental to Herberts ability to make friends. As such, when he meets those who see past his outside appearance and shows him true unprejudice and compassion, he often returns the favour with loyalty and a favourable working relationship.
